hi all
i'm tony this is
building a cruising cell work yeah um
been a bit chilly this week so i didn't
get that much done this weekend
it's warmed up since some evenings or
whatever
i have managed to get some things done
it's quite possible that this video will
be a short one
but let's have a look at what's going on
[Applause]
ugh
[Applause]
[Music]
[Applause]
oh

[Music]

[Applause]
i've worked quite a lot in the four
people this week um and as
i told you before the goal is to get the
four pink finished and then
move after that and so it's coming on
it's not quite done
but i've re-cut redesigned the the lift
out boards
so they're the way that they will be now
just need some kind of retaining catches
but um other than that they're done and
of course whenever i cut them i need to
paint the edges or whatever
but and then down here
i put this half the old with a nine by
nine douglas fir in there to retain this
retainer for the
for the water tanks so that's all in
the last bit that he's doing in the full
peak now is is the filler
and the the connections for the plumbing
to the water tanks
so that's that i pop those balls back
and as you can probably tell
lined out the panels between the frames
up in the fork peak with with eva foam
mats
which gives us a bit of insulation and
and tides it all up
looking good i think
[Applause]
so
[Applause]
[Applause]
[Music]
[Music]
yeah so i bought this stainless tube
um to make the partners fittings
and these discs as well our laser
so i'm just gonna just cutting it to
length
and that pops on there
[Music]
down somewhere like that you get the
angle right for the
for the forehead and the mast angle
once you weld that up put some plates
up there for fixing blocks too and and
supporting it all
and a lip around here so that
the mast boot comes over and locates
onto that
that'll be a very tidy partner's fitting
i think it won't be quite that long
i've cut it deliberately a bit too long
at the moment um
because i need to get as i said that
angle for the deck and then
i don't want this protruding through
square in the forebeak i want to level
with the depth
so i've cut it too long and i'll trim it
off again at the
at the angle of the deck but it's a
start
and it's going to work nicely that's
going to be a pretty solid old
part of this fitting
[Applause]
[Applause]
